Community Resources:

Tri-Counties Regional Center:
The State of California contracts with Tri-Counties Regional Center to provide supports and services for children and adults with developmental disabilities living in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. Our Web site offers useful information about our agency and its services but our hopes go beyond that. We also hope that you will take the time to learn more about how the pieces of the service system puzzle fit together statewide. And, we hope that you will take advantage of valuable information about local parent and self-advocacy groups. The more information you have that you can really use, the more in charge of your life you can be.

City of Santa Barbara Parks & Recreation Dept.:
Adapted Programs gives people with special needs the opportunity to travel, play, compete and network in a safe and supportive environment that fosters a positive experience for anyone participating in our many programs. By meeting with and assessing the abilities of each child or adult who requests our services, we are able to provide the most positive and beneficial service we can offer. We want all who participate to have fun, learn new skills, get fit and interact with new and old friends alike.
